While surfing the NRDC blog Switchboard.nrdc.org I came across a post about Peter Russell's World Clock which illustrates how out of control our growth is.
Click on the "NOW" button to get a real sense of how much money is spent on Military, how many cars are being produced, how much forest is being cut and so on.
For someone who appreciates living sustainably this site will come as no shock but for someone who just doesn't get why we need to curb our appetite it's an eye opener.
