Chia Seeds or Salvia Hispanica are a nutritious addition to a light lunch snack wrap.
First I marinate mushrooms in Namu Shoyu (unpasturized soy sauce) for at least a half hour.
Then take a sheet of soaked rice paper and fill it with your choice, sprouts, noodles or rice and top that with your choice of shredded carrots, marinated mushrooms, walnuts, cucumbers, organic greens, or what ever.
Once you have all of your filling stacked drizzle on plum hoisin sauce or a sauce of your choosing.
After you've wrapped up your spring roll spread chia seeds on a plate and then rock your roll all over to cover.
(Secret....for a meaty addition try adding 'Yves Vegan Sausage Links. I fry mine in Grape Seed Oil for a crispy skin. Yummy!)
